Rep. Bamidele Salam Hails Governor Ademola Adeleke on Birthday, Lauds Transformative Leadership
The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as “a beacon of responsive governance, visionary leadership, and genuine compassion for the people.”
In a statement released on Tuesday by his media Assistant, Joshua Afolabi, Rep. Salam praised Governor Adeleke’s dynamic and people-centered leadership which, according to him, has ushered in a new era of transformation, transparency, and inclusive governance in Osun State.
“On behalf of the good people of my constituency and indeed all lovers of progressive democracy, I heartily rejoice with Governor Ademola Adeleke, a man whose ascent to power reflects the triumph of resilience, populism, and democratic ideals,” Salam stated.
He commended Governor Adeleke for his bold steps in reviving critical sectors of the Osun economy, particularly in infrastructure, education, health care delivery, civil service reform, and fiscal discipline.
“In just a short period, the Adeleke administration has recalibrated public trust in government. Roads are being rehabilitated, schools are receiving attention, and salaries and pensions are being paid promptly, all in line with his promise to run a government of the people, by the people, and for the people,” Salam noted.
The lawmaker further highlighted Adeleke’s unique leadership style which, he said, combines humility with pragmatism.
“Governor Adeleke governs with a human face. His accessibility, sincerity, and readiness to engage with citizens at every level make him a rare gem in our political landscape,” Salam said
Rep. Salam, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts also praised Adeleke’s courage in standing firm on the side of justice and equity, particularly in his efforts to depoliticize state administration and promote meritocracy.
“His Excellency has demonstrated that governance is not about showmanship, but about service. He has shattered stereotypes, redefined the ethos of leadership, and restored the pride of Osun people,” Salam added.
As he wished Governor Adeleke many more years of good health, strength, and wisdom, Rep. Salam urged all stakeholders in Osun to continue supporting the governor’s efforts to build a state that truly works for all.
“May this birthday mark the beginning of even greater accomplishments in the journey of Your Excellency. Osun is indeed blessed to have a leader who puts the people first, always,” the statement concluded.
