Over 700 Admission Seekers to Benefit from Rep. Bamidele Salam’s 2026 Free UTME Forms Initiative In Osun

No fewer than 700 prospective UTME candidates across Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State are set to benefit from the 2026 free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms initiative sponsored by the Member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Bamidele Salam.

The lawmaker made the announcement in a statement issued on Friday and signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Education and Civil Society Matters, Umar Salman.

According to the statement, the intervention is part of Rep. Salam’s long-standing commitment to expanding access to education and easing the financial burden on parents and guardians, particularly in the face of prevailing economic challenges.

It stated that beneficiaries would be selected across the four local government areas of the constituency, with a transparent and inclusive process to ensure fairness and equity.

Interested students And admission seekers are advised to apply via the link below, noting that the exercise is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

It added that only shortlisted applicants who meet the selection criteria on the application form would be contacted via text message (SMS) by the Education Committee with further instructions.

Selection Criteria are Proof of LG of Origin from any of the 4 LGs in the Constituency, Complete O’level result either WAEC or NECO with at least 5 credit passes in 5 relevant subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics and JAMB Profile Code

The free UTME forms initiative, the statement noted, complements the lawmaker’s broader education-focused interventions, including scholarships, academic support programmes and capacity-building initiatives for students and teachers across the Federal Constituency.

Salam reiterated that education remains a critical tool for youth empowerment and sustainable development, stressing that no deserving student should be denied the opportunity to pursue tertiary education due to financial constraints.
