The Lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state at the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has extended his heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to the Muslim community as they begin the sacred month of Ramadan.
In a statement released by his media Assistant, Joshua Afolabi earlier today, the lawmaker expressed his admiration for the spirit of devotion, reflection, and solidarity that marks this holy period.
He called upon Nigerians, particularly Muslim faithful, to embrace the values of charity, patience, and self-discipline during this blessed time.
“Ramadan is a time for personal growth, deep reflection, and selfless service to humanity.
As Muslims around the world come together to observe this month of fasting, I encourage all of us to continue fostering unity, peace, and compassion,” Rep. Salam stated.
He also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the less fortunate are not left behind during this period.
“In these trying times, it is crucial that we come together to support the vulnerable in our society. Ramadan offers us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to social justice and community welfare,” he added.
