Healthcare: Rep Bamidele Salam Organises Free Medical Outreach, As Constituents Enjoy Free Tests, Medications
Representative Bamidele Salam in partnership with the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, on Saturday 8th of March, 2025, organised a medical outreach for members of his constituency in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency.
The medical outreach afforded the beneficiaries with free medical examinations for various forms of ailment, free medications, free medical eye glasses and instant referral of advanced health issues for immediate attention.
The program, which has been a regular intervention effort of Rep Bamidele Salam since assumption of office as Representative of his people, most of whom are elderly, is aimed at bridging the cost of healcare for the people, thereby keeping them sound and healthy.
Rep Bamidele Salam, Represented by his constituency aides and stalwarts of the PDP in the federal constituency including the newly elected chairman of Egbedore Local Government, Hon Sanya Okunade and the senior legislative aide to the lawmaker, Barrister Akintayo Jimoh, enjoined the people of the constituency to always make issue of their health a top priority, reminding them of the popular maxim of health is wealth.
The lawmaker further assured of his continued commitment to the wellbeing of the people of his constituency, irrespective of social or political status.
The beneficiaries, who expressed great relieve with what many described as timely intervention of Rep Bamidele Salam, also noted that many of them would have succumbed to some ugly eventualities, as they lacked the financial wherewithal to confront challenges facing them.
