Rep. Bamidele Salam Celebrates Alawo of Awo Kingdom, Oba Adegboye, on Birthday

The member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam, has congratulated the Alawo of Awo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulrasaq Taiwo Ajibade Adegboye (Abioye III) on the occasion of his birthday.

Salam, in a congratulatory message, described the monarch as a revered traditional institution holder whose leadership and commitment to the peace, unity and development of Awo kingdom remain worthy of celebration.

The lawmaker, who is a son of the land, acknowledged the important role of traditional rulers in preserving cultural heritage, promoting communal harmony and sustaining the values that bind the people together.

He noted that the birthday of Oba Adegboye provides another opportunity to celebrate his life, royal service and contributions to the traditional institution and the development aspirations of his people.

Salam also prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health, wisdom and strength for the monarch, expressing the hope that his reign would continue to witness greater peace, progress and prosperity across Awo Kingdom.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the advancement of his constituency and the preservation of the cultural heritage of his people, stressing the need for sustained collaboration among traditional institutions, political leaders and other stakeholders to promote development at the grassroots.

The federal lawmaker wished Oba Adegboye many more years on the throne in good health and renewed strength, praying that his reign would continue to bring honour, unity and enduring development to Awo kingdom.
