Governor Ademola Adeleke Reaffirms Commitment To Peoples Wellbeing, As Bamidele Salam Rounds Off First Year Anniversary
Governor Ademola Adeleke Adeleke of Osun State has reaffirmed his administration’s avowed commitment to enhance globally acceptable standard of living of the people, saying, it is humanly indecent to misdirect efforts away from projected wellbeing of the populace.
Governor Adeleke made the affirmation while commissioning Educational and rural electrification projects facilitated and executed by Rep Bamidele Salam of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo federal Constituency.
The state Governor praised the collaborative efforts of Hon Bamidele Salam, for aligning with the PDP administration’s agenda in osun State, which according to him, was essentially to redefine governance into simplest solubles of injecting positive impacts on the people.
Some of the projects commissioned by His Excellency on Monday as part of activities marking the first year of Hon Salam in the 10th National Assembly include: a from the scratch rural electrification project in Olori-Igbon Community, Ejigbo Local Government, a 500kva power transformer in Alaasan Community, Egbedore Local Government.
An 8 bock of classrooms and a well-equipped ICT center at Baptist primary school, Awo, as well as a personally funded electrification project by Rep Bamidele Salam at Awere-Musa Community in Ede, gulping over 40million naira, amongst others.
Hon Bamidele Salam had earlier told journalists at the event that the projects are part of his own initiatives in form of gratitude to the people for the opportunity accorded him by the people to represent them at the 10th national assembly.
In another development, the state PDP Chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi, who was in company of Mr Governor at the event, formally received hundreds of decampees from opposition APC, ADP, and SDP into the state PDP fold.
The PDP Chairman enjoined party handlers at the ward and local government levels to ensure a seamless integration of the new members into the ruling PDP family.
