In a heartwarming gesture, Rep. Bamidele Salam and Mrs Oluwaseyi Salam, founders of Oasis Royal Academy in Osogbo, have awarded a scholarship to Osho Temiloluwa Joel, a remarkable 2-year-old cyclist.
The young cyclist, a student of Young Shall Grow Cycling Institute, impressed Rep. Salam by riding his bicycle from Osogbo City Stadium to Oasis School at Oroki Estate.
The scholarship, announced on September 17, 2024, at the school compound after the Cyclist Road Show, will support Osho Temiloluwa’s education until the end of his primary school studies.
This generous award was made in celebration of Oasis Royal Academy’s 10th anniversary.
Rep. Salam praised Osho Temiloluwa’s impressive cycling skills, stating that the young boy’s achievement surpassed his expectations.
Osho James Oluwatosin, the boy’s father and coach of Young Shall Grow Cycling Institute, expressed gratitude to the founders of Oasis Royal Academy, saying, “It’s a surprise, and I’m very happy for the scholarship.”
This scholarship serves as proof of Oasis Royal Academy’s commitment to nurturing young talent and supporting the community. By investing in Osho Temiloluwa’s education, Rep. Salam and his wife, Mrs. Oluwaseyi Salam, are empowering the next generation of leaders and change-makers.
