The member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam is set to organize Free Summer Classes to engage secondary school students meaningfully during the 2023 summer holidays from August 7 to September 7, 2023.

 

In a press Statement made available to newsmen at his Constituency Office in Ede, Osun State today 17th of July, 2023, the ranking member of the House of Representatives, Abuja noted that the Summer Classes is one of the key projects under his E4 Educational Program.

 

He emphasized that this is to promote quality education and motivate youngsters to strive for excellence in life as education remains the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.

 

“This tradition of Free Summer Classes began in the year 2019 when I was first elected. We have successfully impacted the lives of over 10,000 secondary school students through various educational projects such as this and many others in the last 4 years” he added.

 

The summer classes target students in SS2 and SS3. It will be holding simultaneously in 10 different centres across the 4 Local Government Areas in the Federal Constituency with at least 100 students and 4 competent teachers in each centre.

Please note that there will be unified Mock Examination at the end of the lessons to assess the learners with a view to rewarding the best students with various gifts and fantastic prizes. Only students who have at least 75% class attendance will be allowed to participate in the Mock Examination.
