The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has described the remarkable achievements of Governor Ademola Adelekes first hundred days in office as indicative of the blissful years of governance awaiting the people of the state.

Salam stated this in a personally signed press statement issued in Abuja to commemorate the first 100 days of the PDP-led administration in Osun State.

The member of the House of Representatives noted with delight that Governor Adeleke has shocked cynics and justified the expectations of the masses of Osun State by his purposeful delivery on promises through scores of ongoing new road projects, construction of school buildings, water supply, Medical and surgical outreaches as well as reactivation of several moribund projects across the state.

Salam also noted with delight the payments of backlog of salaries, pensions, and gratuities which the immediate past administration had described as impossible during some of the pre-election debates.

The launch of a digital broadband initiative, the Imole Youth Employment Scheme, and the free mobile surgical and medical outreach, which has bridged the gap between primary and tertiary health services, have set the state on a path of sustainable human capital development.

“These gestures of Governor Adeleke mark him out as a responsible steward who understands the purpose of governance and is committed to restoring hope to the citizens and residents of Osun State”

While admonishing the governor and his team to remain focused on the delivery of good governance to the people of Osun State, Representative Salam urged the people to continue in their support for the Adeleke administration by offering good counsel, remaining law abiding and performing their civic duties at all times.
