A federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has struck out a case instituted by Mr Soji Adewusi against the emergence of Rep Bamidele Salam as PDP candidate for Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo Federal Constituency.

The court held that the plaintiff, Soji Adewusi, going by evidence before it, failed to exhaust internal mechanism of the party before heading to court, an account for which the court declined jurisdiction.

The court also considered as fatal, the alteration on the date of the plaintiff’s petition to the party after the primary election and therefore discountenanced the letter as a worthless piece of evidence.

The judge also described the case as frivolous as the cause of prayers sought in court is strictly affair of a political party and is therefore, unjusticiable.
