Earlier today, I received the news of the demise of one of respected leaders of our party in Ejigbo, Deacon Noah Oderinu with heavy heart.
Deacon was a deep asset not just to our party, but also in religious circles, whose activities in promoting love and brotherliness cannot be over emphasized.
I recall our working today as Aides of former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola between 2003 and 2007 from where I built a personal relationship with him.
He will be missed for his unusual thoroughness and commitment to his beliefs. He would not sacrifice due process or larger interest for patronage of any kind. He was dutiful in service to the state and humanity at large.
Deacon’s mastery and use of the Youruba language laden with idioms and proverbs as well as his rich deposit of history made him a great delight at functions and political meetings during his lifetime.
I condole with the Odérínú family, the PDP and the Baptist family where he played key roles as a Deacon and Elder. May the comforting presence of God be with his family, friends and associates to bear the loss of our dear Elder.
Goodnight Deacon Oderinu.
