12 Schools Benefit As Osun Rep Member Distributes School Bags, Books To Mark Adeleke’s Second Anniversary

In commemoration of the second anniversary of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, Representative Bamidele Salam, who represents Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency, has Distributed over 1,200 school bags and books to students in 12 public schools in his constituency.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Joshua Afolabi, and made available to newsmen, Salam announced that students across the four local governments in the constituency will benefit from the educational support materials.

He said that the distribution will be carried out in phases to ease educational challenges faced by students and enhance their learning experience.

The initiative, which began on Friday, is part of efforts to commemorate Governor Adeleke’s second year in office.

Salam, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts, explained that the initiative aims to ease the burden on parents and guardians while providing students with essential educational materials to help ensure their academic success.

“The first phase of the distribution saw the provision of school bags and notebooks to students in Baptist Primary School, Awo, YTD Grammar School, Ojoro- Ede, Agbonran School Of Science -Ede, L.A Primary School, Agbongbe- Ede, CAC Grammar School, Ede, ST. Peter Primary School, Ede, and sekona grammar school, Ede.

Also, Ilawo Community Grammar School, Beulah Baptist Primary School, Ejigbo, ADS High School, Ejigbo, Ebenezer Primary School, Ara, Ìrágberí Grammar School, Ìrágberí and Ojo/Aro grammar school

“On average, 100 students per school has benefited and will benefit from this donation,” he noted.

Salam emphasized the importance of the gesture, stating that it is designed to support the educational aspirations of the younger generation.

“We are committed to ensuring that every child has access to the tools necessary for a successful educational journey.”

“This distribution aligns with our goal of creating an enabling environment for students, especially as we celebrate Governor Adeleke’s second anniversary in office,” Salam said.

The distribution is set to continue over time and will cover more schools in the Constituency, with additional phases planned in the coming days.

“We will continue our efforts to ensure that no student is left behind in our drive to support education across our constituency,” Salam added.
